Doodle V Ningen

Even though I'm not done working on Doodle IV - Badass InuYasha, I was inspired to get another image down.

~hanyou-lover1 [link] asked if I would do a human InuYasha, and for some reason the braincells clicked and said "do it" so I did.

Here I've envisioned him as a human farmer, with the only trait carried over from his youkai heritage being his super long hair and tapered face. As I complete this sketch, I want to have him leaning on a bamboo fence with some leafy foliage in the background. I might even add something for him to be looking at specifically. Otherwise, it's just a nice portrait. It's still rough, especially at the bottom, but I like to show how an image progresses from rough sketch to finished lineart, to colors, then detailing. ...Maybe I'll also put a harrow or a long-handled adze (tools) leaning against the fence with him. If I've progressed enough, I might even attempt sweat droplets from hard work.
