I've been working like a person possessed on a new image, of which this cicada is a small part.

I'm finding that the more I do backgrounds, the more I like doing them. This is a VERY GOOD THING.

This was painted almost entirely in PaintTool Sai, and it's an experiment, so it does have InuYasha involved. I should have it done by this weekend, so stay tuned!

I actually thought this was photo at first :omg:

If funny you know, 'cuz I HATE bugs with a passion[except butterflies] and yet their detailing and how they interact in life fascinates me and you did a great job on the details!

Thanks! I like cicadas a lot, and I've always wanted to put them in my art so I spent quite awhile on it. May yet dink with it some more....:lol:

I srsly thought this was real at first glance! Very nice indeed. I can see many rough spots as of yet, but hey, good work so far mate!

This is a bit of a close up so the rough bits may not show as much in the finished thing.:D

I love cicadas too! I've always wanted to add them to my art and this will be my first attempt! I hope it comes out well!
