The Chicken Thief WIP

What a strange day I've had!

It started off on a real bummer when I LOST an auction in Japan that I REALLY wanted, and it was because the auction site screwed up! I was SOOOOOOOOOOO friggin' mad! And it was because it was for a demon InuYasha cel that I'd wanted for years. I just about broke down and cried I was so disappointed.

Sigh.

Then my husband took me out for breakfast. It was good. Then we went to a couple of hobby stores to look for bits for the minka. We were pretty successful. Then I hauled out another backup computer of mine and stripped the RAM out of it and put the two chips into HAL who has been dead for three LONG days...

Eureka! IT IS ALIVE! I've tried all evening to get it to crash again and it seems really stable, so Yay! I can get back to some of the art I was working on tomorrow. I still have to reconnect everything, but at least I don't have to use the laptop anymore. Hosannahs!

Thankfully, my first guess as to what was wrong seems to have been the right one. I will have to take the old chips out and have them tested to see which one has failed. In the meantime, I will be looking around on Ebay for some spares.

Even though I'm still REALLY cheesed off about losing that cel, at least I can put some things back to some semblance of normal.

Heavy sigh.
