The Krampus

This guy has been lurking in my brain for quite awhile, and it was high time I shoved him out into the light of day.

The Krampus was a creature that, according to myth, used to travel with St. Nicholas on Christmas Eve. If any bad little children were found, the Krampus would bind them in ropes or chains and take them away.

This drawing came about because I was banned from my main computer for awhile. I had accidentally deleted the partition on a 1 terabyte external drive that I used for storage. There was over 28 thousand files on that drive, and I was desperate to recover them, so everything ground to a complete halt while I worked on the recovery process, which takes sssooooooooo fffffffriggin' longgggggg. In fact, it's still going in the background, while I'm typing now, but it's at a point in the recovery where I can steal a little time on the web without disrupting the recovery process.

It took thirty hours alone for the initial scan of that drive, and during that time, I drew this....

Once I get my machine back to normal, I'd like someday to paint this guy in full color.....
