Oh so prickly. I have days like this.
Drawings like this occur when I have had enough of drawing nice, fluffy, happy things. Manic much? Maybe.
The quills on this bad boy are patterned after African porcupine quills which are about a foot long and really HARD and pointy. They're striped like that too.
I try drawing creatures to expand my ability to use different animal textures...
